Studio Kraak, founded by Luisella Kraak, develops websites and is active in content management and ergonomical advise. Studio Kraak specializes in building and maintaining websites leaving webdesign to professional designers such as Corien Bögels - vormgeving en illustratie (design and illustration) in Groningen and De Blauwe Kip in Leiden.
Furthermore Studio Kraak advises on cognitive ergonomical issues when developing websites and webapplications.

Cognitive ergonomics is the study of the way in which people perceive, process, remember, and take decisions based on information using senses as vision, hearing and touch.
Knowledge from the field of cognitive ergonomics can help to develop machines, systems and software, not in the least websites, in such a way that they can be optimized for the people that use them. This field of application is also called interaction design.
